Data Science for Non-Data Scientists in TRB 120 In-Person
What kinds of research questions can data science answer? How can a researcher effectively communicate with a data scientist? This course is designed to introduce biomedical researchers to the concept, techniques, and language of data science. The class will cover:

- What types of questions data science techniques can answer
- How to interpret answers provided by data science and the limitations of those answers
This is a beginner level class, intended for researchers interested in learning more about data science, but not interested in becoming data scientists themselves.
The class will be taught by Dr. Alisa Surkis, Assistant Director of Research Data and Metrics, and Nicole Contaxis, Data Catalog Project Coordinator, from the Health Sciences Library.
