Introduction to Research Metrics Online
This workshop will equip participants with the skills to effectively understand and use various research impact metrics. By the end of this workshop attendees will be able to:
- Describe the differences between journal, article, and author level metrics and identify examples of each
- Identify both the uses and limitations of traditional and alternative metrics
- Choose the appropriate metrics and understand how to compile them
