Introduction to Overton Database: An Exploration of Policy Citations and Grey Literature In-Person / Online
This workshop will introduce participants to the Overton Database, the largest policy and grey literature database. After attending this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Describe the content and scope of the Overton database
- Define policy citations and grey literature
- Use the Overton database to create and customize their own reports
By the end of the session, participants will understand how scholarly work is cited in policy contexts and the impact research can have on the real world.
