Open Access & Library-Reduced Article Fees Online
In recent years, the landscape of scholarly publishing has undergone a significant transformation with the emergence of Open Access (OA) publishing models. This course offers an exploration of Open Access and its relationship with Author Processing Charges (APCs). This course will discuss key concepts surrounding open access, practical applications and resources available to publishing authors through the NYU Health Sciences Library & Bobst Library. It is our hope that participants will gain a deep understanding of the principles, benefits, challenges, and controversies surrounding OA and APCs in scholarly communication.
