This session covers different aspects to consider prior to collecting data as they relate to data collection instruments, variables, and database management. It also includes information about auditing data for completeness and accuracy and what to include in a regulatory binder. Participants in this workshop will be able to:

  • Describe the process for setting goals for data collection.
  • Recognize best practices for data collection
  • Identify the steps of a data auditing process.
  • Recognize processes for mid-study changes.
  • Identify the purpose and parts of a regulatory binder.
