Interacting with Statisticians and Data Analysts – Turning Significant Conversation into Significant Results In-Person
This course will show you how to interact with statisticians and data analysts to make sure that you are communicating your research goals and hypotheses in the most efficient and accurate manner. You’ll learn how to frame your research question from the perspective of an analyst, learn how to collaborate with your analyst to develop an analysis plan, and avoid problems that can arise from a lack of communication.
Topics covered include: statistical terminology, how to store/present data for analysis, how discuss different analytical techniques, operationalizing your analysis variables, and common errors in interacting with statisticians/analysts.
