How (and Why) to Talk to a Data Scientist In-Person
What kinds of research questions can data science answer? How can a researcher effectively communicate with a data scientist? This course is designed to introduce biomedical researchers to the concept, techniques, and language of data science. The class will cover: How data science has been used in health care research What types of questions data science techniques can answer How to interpret answers provided by data science and the limitations of those answers This is a beginner level class, intended for researchers interested in learning more about data science, but not interested in becoming data scientists themselves.
