Film Screening: Paywall - The Business of Scholarship In-Person
Join the NYU Health Sciences Library for a screening of the new documentary film Paywall: The Business of Scholarship and a panel discussion to follow. The film describes the need for open access to research and science and highlights important issues in for-profit models of academic publishing. After the film, panelist experts will field questions and discus the issues raised. Film running time is 65 minutes.
Location is Science Building 103, 5:00 - 6:30PM with Q&A after.
