Data Sharing: Policies and Processes at NYU Langone Health

This class is intended for researchers interested in sharing or obtaining research data, including researchers who need to share data to be compliant with external requirements. The class will explore whether, when, and how to share different types of research data in an appropriate and legal manner.

This class will include discussions of:

  • NYU Langone Health’s data sharing policies

  • Applicable laws, regulations, and sponsor requirements

  • Data Sharing Agreements

  • How to transfer data and make it available to outside parties

  • Anonymized, real-world examples of completed NYU Langone Health data transfers
