This is a 120 minute workshop will use the COVID-19 de-identified EHR dataset and you will need access to the dataset to attend. Request data access by filling out the Dataset Use Agreement (DUA) here: https://hit.nyumc.org/COVIDDeID/. You must be on the network to access the DUA, and please allow at least one week for the DUA to be processed.
This workshop is for NYU Langone personnel only.
This workshop will introduce participants to R and R Studio, a free, open-source coding language and coding environment for performing data analysis. Participants will learn:
- What R and RStudio are
- How can they be used as part of a reproducible analysis workflow
- The basic syntax for reading in data, specifically focused on basic SQL pulls directly from the HUE COVID-19 De-Identifed
